NEC has extended its support network with the launch of the NEC3 HealthCheck service to audit and advise on how companies are using the contract.
the HealthCheck comprises a sample half-day audit of a live project, and is conducted by an experienced NEC consultant in collaboration with the project team.
It is designed to assess project compliance in relation to NEC’s four key areas: Communication, Programme, Early Warning and Compensation Events.
NEC general manager Rekha Thawrani said: “Using the NEC ethos of collaborative and open working, the HealthCheck provides organisations with an NEC consultant to work with team members and assess projects utilising NEC3.
“Following the session, the consultant will produce an executive summary highlighting good working practices and recommending ways in which the team can improve its processes to ensure better project outcomes.”
The launch of NEC3 HealthCheck follows on from the recent expansion of the NEC Users’ Group to Australasia.
Earlier this year NEC launched the first in a series of regional groups planned around the world to reflect the growing usage of the NEC3 contract suite.
