NCE plays its part

As part of New Civil Engineer's commitment to tackling the skills shortage in construction we have negotiated with Edexcel to distribute our schools magazine NCEinsite free to all 1,000 students studying the new GCSE.

NCE insite is a magazine dedicated to telling school students, teachers, parents and careers advisors about the huge potential and variety of careers available in civil engineering, construction and the built environment. Over 15,000 copies of the magazine are distributed each term directly on request.

It is supported by 12 of the biggest institutions and industry clients including the Royal Academy of Engineering, CITB Construction Skills, the Institution of Civil Engineers, BAA, Network Rail, the Highways Agency, and the Environment Agency.

It is also boasts industry support from two of Britain's biggest consultants and contractors: Parsons Brinckerhoff and Balfour Beatty.

If you would like to join this powerful group in driving the magazine forward and at the same time raising your profile in Britain's schools and colleges, please contact NCEinsite editor Mark Hansford, tel (020) 7505 6668 or email mark.hansford@emap. com
