NCE conference to focus on sustainability

LEADING CONSULTANTS, contractors, academics and clients are to turn a searchlight on sustainability next month.

Profiting from sustainability, a one day conference on 14 September organised by NCE, will scrutinise the environmental, economic and social issues contributing to sustainability.

Growing concern with environmenal and social sustainability among investors and clients is to be addressed by head of policy at asset manager Friends Ivory & Sime Rachel Crossley, and Prudential Portfolio Managers chairman Derek Higgs.

There will also be contributions on measuring sustainability, transport planning, energy efficiency, e-commerce in construction and training construction professionals for coming sustainability challenges.
