Tom Larmour (M), late director of Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong, who tragically drowned while attempting to save the lives of two students during Typhoon Victor in August 1997, has been posthumously awarded the Medal for Bravery (Gold) in Hong Kong's first honours list. Larmour had worked for Ove Arup since 1974 and been in Hong Kong since 1979.
