Gibb Rail managing director Chris Green will take over as chief executive of Virgin Rail at the end of the month. Green joined Gibb in 1996 after leaving his previous role as chief executive of English Heritage amid claims of 'deception' over an advertising contract (NCE 29 January 1998). He will replace Brian Barrett, who is taking up a non-executive director role.
