Names & faces

Richard Heard (M) takes over as operations director at Birmingham International Airport from 1 December. He has worked at the airport for three years leading the team managing major development work.

Clive Trencher (M) has been appointed as senior account engineer at FM Global's Construction Unit in London. He brings over 20 years construction industry experience to his position.

Aspen Burrow Crocker has opened a new office in Bishop Stortford. Bryan Evans becomes associate director, heading the new transport, traffic and infrastructure team which includes Steve Miller (M) and John Thistlewaite (M).

Corus has appointed Ian Lindsay as new engineering director for permanent way. He will be responsible for managing feasibility, design, asset condition and performance of all permanent way infrastructure for the company.

Hurley Palmer Partnership and Maurice Baguley & Partners have merged and will now trade as Hurley Palmer Partnership.
