Anthony Morgan (M) has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Forensic Services Group as a partner and European head of construction dispute resolution services. Construction Dispute Resolution Services member Gerrard Gallagher has been elected as a Council member at the Institute of Civil Engineers.

Binnie Black & Veatch has appointed Louise Clark (M), Marcus Hutt (M), David MacDonald, John Mills (M), and Andy Sharpe (M) as technical directors.

Health and safety minister Alan Whitehead has announced three re-appointments to the Health & Safety Commission; George Brumwell and Margaret Burns will serve a further three-year term from 1 April 2001. Rex Symons has been re-appointed for a period ending on 31 March 2002.

Owen Williams Consultants has appointed John Ayling as business sector manager for its property consultancy based in Lewes. He will be responsible for managing a team of over 80 staff, providing a range of multi-disciplinary services.

Joep Athmer has been appointed director and general manager of Newbury based marine contractor Van Oord ACZ.

He takes over from Pieter van Oord who will now direct the Offshore (Oil & Gas) division of Van Oord ACZ's parent company in Holland.

Richard Neall has been appointed managing director for Jackson Civil Engineering, part of Peterhouse, the construction, safety and support services group.
