Babtie Group has appointed Daniel Leggett as technical director for coastal, estuarine, river and marine water management. He will be based in the Group's Croydon office.

Dr Stephen Garvin becomes director of BRE Scotland, succeeding Heather Cuckow who will be working with BRE's operations director until her retirement in October.

Margaret Hickish, access group leader at Buro Happold, is named as convenor of the newly formed Mobility & Access Committee for Scotland (MACS). The committee has been set up to advise Scottish ministers on improving the accessibility of transport to disabled people in Scotland.
