lClarke Bond Group has announced the appointment of David Harding (M) as chief executive officer. He was previously managing director of Clarke Bond's civil engineering division.

lICE council member, Gerard Gallagher (M), has recently joined Ernst &Young's Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction team as senior consultant. He leaves his previous role with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Construction Dispute and Analysis team.

lGeraint Parry (M) has been appointed area director at Hyder's Guildford office. He joined the company in 1992 and has most recently been in charge of the company's Cardiff operations.

Neil Kemble (M) takes over in Cardiff.

lCapita Property Consultancy (CPC) has appointed three new directors at its offices across the UK. John Southgate, formerly head of investment strategy at Railtrack, has joined as new managing director of CPC's transportation division in London.

Lindsay McCombe has become director of cost management at the Redditch office, and Andrew Harnett has become director of building surveying in London.

lBirmingham based Stanford Management Consultancy has appointed Andrew Cox as projects managing director.

lBabtie Group has appointed Catriona Schmolke as director of its Environmental Management business unit, part of the group's environmental consultancy arm.
