Robert May (M) joins Atkins geotechnical engineering team as chief engineer while Howard Roscoe becomes principal geotechnical engineer in Warrington.

White Young Green has promoted Neil Thomson to board level director for Newcastle and Cumbria offices. Meanwhile Paul Newby becomes technical director with responsibility for mechanical and electrical engineering in the North East and Peter Gray regional director for civil and structural engineering at Newcastle. Stephen MacLoughlin is made regional director of the Southampton office.
