Multiplex Construction managing director quits

News

Martin Tidd, managing director of Wembley Stadium contractor Multiplex Construction, has quit after two years working for the company. A company spokesman said that Tidd chose to leave because of the firm's decision to only work on projects generated by its parent company Multiplex Group. Tidd's expertise is largely in PFI contracts. The former John Laing engineer and Wates Group managing director will leave Multiplex in March 2007. He has not yet disclosed where he will be going.
