Mowlem fire another shot

Contractor Mowlem this week fired another shot in the row over design and construction of the new Bath Spa building project after being ordered by architect Nicholas Grimshaw to fix a leaking steam room floor. It cites an independent architect's report, saying there is an 'inherent lack of clarity in the design' and calling for better evidence of the long term performance of the sealants specified. The report was produced for client Bath & North East Somerset District Council by Bickerdike Allen and materials firm Stats.
