Mouchel recruits Laing O'Rourke water director

Mouchel has recruited Lee Horrocks from Laing O’Rourke to its water business.

He becomes business unit director for Mouchel’s water design and build division, and will work to develop and secure opportunities with the firm’s contracting partners in water and wastewater and other infrastructure sectors.

Horrocks was previously JV board director and water projects director at Laing O’Rourke.

He will continue his long-term role as a non-executive director of British Water.

David Virden, managing director of Mouchel Infrastructure Services, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lee to our Water Design & Build team. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and industry experience that will play an instrumental role in positioning our already industry-leading business towards future opportunities in the UK water industry.”
