Mott MacDonald’s Laurie Price to advise House of Commons Aviation Committee

Mott MacDonald’s director of aviation strategy Laurie Price has been appointed as the aviation adviser to the House of Commons All Party Aviation Group.

Price will draw on his specialist expertise as Mott MacDonald’s chief aviation strategist to provide voluntary advice to the Group on a range of key industry matters, including airport capacity, environmental concerns and sustainable development, with the objective of raising the profile and creating broader understanding of aviation issues within Parliament.

"With the current economic turbulence the spotlight is firmly focussed on issues such as the rise in fuel prices, carbon emissions, and sustainable expansion," said Price. "I look forward to providing independent and practical insights into the aviation sector to help the Group ensure that the industry is accurately represented."

Price’s new advisory role follows on from his eight year stint advising the House of Commons Transport Select Committee.
