Mott MacDonald has been named technical advisor for a new build hospital project in Scotland.

The firm will provide technical and procurement advisory services for NHS Dumfries & Galloway’s acute services redevelopment project.

The scheme will involve the replacement of the Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary with a new hospital.

Mott MacDonald will provide architectural, healthcare planning, engineering, facilities management, environmental, cost consultancy and other construction-related services.

Richard Cantlay, project director at Mott MacDonald, said: “We are delighted to be involved in this exciting and highly significant project and look forward to working with NHS Dumfries & Galloway to deliver a first class healthcare facility benefiting the local population.”
