Mott MacDonald wins nuclear role

NCE stock nuclear

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) has appointed Mott MacDonald as its sole supplier of asset management advisory services.

The contract, which is for two years and could be extended by another two years, comes on the back of a four-year working relationship between the two. The new contract is for ISO55000 asset management support and advice. It will cover strategy development and implementation, risk management and investment planning.

Mott MacDonald practice leader for asset management Paul Chadwick said: “This framework agreement will provide great opportunities to both us and the NDA. Clients across various sectors are facing the challenge of trying to achieve more out of their existing assets, so implementing effective asset management frameworks, principles and processes can really help deliver value where it counts.

“Our recognition as endorsed assessors by the Institute of Asset Management and our record for delivering value were key aspects of our bid.”
