Richard Hall snaps up new Volvo crawler

Groundworks and site clearance contractor Richard Hall has added a new 14t Volvo EC140C crawler excavator to its fleet.

The machine is powered by a Volvo four cylinder engine, and has “integrated work mode control”, which provides high efficiency, rapid dig cycles and low fuel consumption.

To suit Richard Hall’s typical land clearance applications, the machine has been delivered with a bespoke dozer blade as a factory fit option. The blade features a lift height of just over 500mm and a dig depth of 575mm.

Another enhancement on the machine is an Engcon rototilt head, which gives 360⁰ flexibility.
