Lynch Plant Hire chooses JCB

JCB has won a substantial order that includes 42 excavators from one of the country’s leading plant hire firms.

The multi-million pound deal has been secured with London-based Lynch Plant Hire and includes a fleet of 20 JS220 and 20 JS130 tracked excavators and two wheeled excavators, a JS175W and a JS130W.

The excavator order was been placed in response to increased demand from Lynch Plant Hire’s customers for machines that can operate in the road and rail sectors.

The deal also includes 40 JCB Loadall telescopic handlers and six backhoe loaders.

Several of the machines have already been delivered and are in use on projects around the UK, including the wheeled excavators, which are being used for the groundworks contract on the M25 motorway widening scheme.
