Morrison and AECOM win £150M Yorkshire AMP framework

Galliford Try subsidiary Morrison Construction has, in joint venture with AECOM Design Build, been awarded two streams of Yorkshire Water’s AMP5 framework worth approximately £150M over five years.

The  two  streams  comprise  treatment works, involving capital projects on sewerage and water treatment plants, which is expected to be worth up to £100M and  other  installation  projects, covering pumping station facilities, expected to be worth around £50M.

Chief Executive of Galliford Try plc, Greg Fitzgerald, commented: “We  are  delighted to extend our long-standing relationship with Yorkshire Water  as  one of its joint venture partners delivering improvements to the water  infrastructure  for  its  customers.

“This  appointment is another significant step in the renewal of our framework agreements with our key water  clients and reinforces our position as one of the sector’s leading contractors.”
