Grontmij wades into Wessex framework

Consultant Grontmij has been appointed to Wessex Water’s 5-year AMP5 framework agreement, which is expected to earn the company between €11M-€16.5M.

Grontmij will provide civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy services, including services such as design for water and sewage treatment works.

Director of water at Grontmij, Scott Aitken, said: “Wessex Water is a key client and the team has a long-standing relationship with the company, built over many years. We are delighted to be appointed to the framework, which is testament to the fact that the team continues to deliver fresh ideas and approaches to our work.

“Our experience in telemetry and water treatment, coupled with over 20 years working with the UK’s water companies means we have the knowledge and expertise to deliver low cost, high quality and sustainable solutions.”
