Morgan Sindall starts on £10M Birmingham Airport tower

Morgan Sindall has started work on a new £10M Air Traffic Control Tower at Birmingham Airport.

Scheduled for completion in 2013, the 33m tower will be home to the airport’s air traffic control provider NATS.

It will take over from the current control tower at the old Elmdon Airport site, which has been in use since 1939.

The scheme follows the completion of Birmingham Airport’s £13M One Terminal project in February 2011.
