Three lanes of the southbound M42 have reportedly been stolen. The motorway went missing during the M42 Toll roadworks, never to re-appear. I believe it is time for an open public debate on this problem Traffic is presently forced to queue for 30km to find alternative routes between Junctions 9 and 7. Drivers are now either waiting to die from boredom or risking life and limb using the dangerous alternative Toll road.

Any sightings of the former three lane M42 should be reported to the Highways Agency.
