So Mr Parkinson considers the Millennium Stadium a success as it came in on budget (NCE last week), and asks for readers to give more examples.

Well, drian wer, roup finance director for John Laing, said of the stadium at the time: 'We've actually delivered a super project but a financial disaster.' Laing Construction was eventually sold for £1 and many of us lost our jobs. Success apparently depends on who you work for.
