Maunsell lands Hong Kong water work

HONG KONG'S Water Supplies Department has awarded consultant Maunsell a four-year contract for the design and construction supervision of catchwater channels and upgrading of adjoining slopes on Hong Kong Island and Lantau Island.

The project involves detailed design and construction supervision for the reconstruction and repair of 22km of catchwater channels and the upgrading of 20 slopes.

It also includes a review of the previous investigation report to finalise the scope of the work.
