Planning approval has been received for a new 140m long cable stay footbridge and cycleway across the River Tawe in Swansea. Designed by structural engineer Flint & Neill Partnership and Wilkinson Eyre Architects, the crossing will have a 50m high steel mast supporting a curved steel deck. Contractor will be Balfour Beatty with steelwork by Rowecord.
