Master stroke

CIVIL ENGINEERING golfers are teed up and ready for the 2002 NCE Charity Masters which will take place on 19 September at the Old Thorns Golf and Country Club in Liphook, Hampshire.

A record 18 teams of four are set to take part in the event which should generate well over £10,000 for engineering charity RedR, the training organisation and register of engineers for disaster relief.

The full day of competition will result in prizes for best team, best individual performances plus special awards for longest drive and nearest the pin.

There will also be a golf professional on hand to give advice and iron out those longstanding swing problems.

A special dinner will round off the day, with a charity auction.

There is still time to secure a place for your team. For further information contact event organiser Chris Hoare on 01403 753869 or email chrishoare@quista. net.
