A new cable stay bridge across the River Tawe in Swansea was taking shape last weekend as engineers erected the central mast and deck section. Mast fabricator Rowecord Engineering raised the 80t, 40m high mast on Saturday, and placed the 47t central section of the steel deck on Sunday. The other eight sections of the 140m long deck will be installed by mid-May.
