Martin Barnard s safety column

So, nothing new then? Responses to the caption competition outweigh the debate on designer role in safety by 8 to 1( NCE 23 May 2002). While such a good response is welcomed, it does perhaps sum up the depth, or lack of it, of debate and interest in the fundamentally important role of the designer in health and safety. I've put it as a half-time score in the hope, (probably forlorn), that others will contribute to the debate. Go on prove me wrong!
