Marshalls presents

Civils 98 launch partner Marshalls will be using the show to exhibit its range of paving and building materials products. And included in the display will be three new products: the Bus Stop kerb to reduce the step up from pavement to bus, a new 'sinusoidal' traffic calming ramp and an update on the world beating Beany block.

These new developments can also be previewed at Marshalls Insight seminars which start next week. Engineers, builders, architects and other construction professional have a choice of more than 20 presentations on, for example, durability in masonry, or hard surface detailing or innovative stormwater storage. The seminars are free and are being held at Sandown Park, Surrey on 4 and 5 February, Cheltenham racecourse on 24 and 25 February, Sunderland Stadium of Light on 21 and 22 April and Murrayfield in Edinburgh on 28 and 29 April. New Civil Engineer and Civils 98 are Marshalls partners for Insight as are Stanton, Castle Cement, Appleby, Harcros, North East Slag Cement and Civil & Marine. For information call the hotline on (01782) 850055.
