Mark Whitby sets up new Middle East design practice

Past ICE president Mark Whitby has teamed up with former Whitby Bird Middle East head Peyman Mohajer to create a new engineering consultancy based in the United Arab Emirates.

The new firm will work in parallel with the UK practice Davies Maguire Whitby, set up by Mark Whitby following the sale of Whitby Bird to Danish consultant Ramboll.

“The opportunity to re-join Peyman in the Middle East was a natural decision,” said Whitby.

“Peyman has a tremendous energy that combined with his local knowledge of the regions customs and culture makes for a very exciting future.”
