Mark Thorn to head up SKM’s geotechnics division

Project management company Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) has announced that Mark Thorn has joined the firm to head up its geotechnical engineering division.

 

Thorn, who has 29 years of geotechnical industry experience, joins the company from URS Scott Wilson where he held the post of business development director for the UK ground engineering sector.

SKM has said that Thorn brings broad business skills to the role through his experience in leading major proposals, business development and client relations, business planning and commercial management.
