Mace picked for National Grid framework

Mace has been appointed to National Grid’s new framework for project services.

The role will see Mace providing a variety of services for National Grid including project management, programme management, cost consultancy, project controls, design management, commissioning management and handover.

The appointment is part of a three year framework with two potential one year extensions

Mace will work on a portfolio of transmission and distribution projects and programmes across the UK, both large and small in scope.

Andy Sharples, Mace’s energy and utilities director said: “This appointment is great for our energy and utilities business as a further endorsement that we have the right people, right systems and right processes in place to deliver a range of key services across the whole of the project lifecycle. It’s also part of our strategy to expand our service offer and provide value for clients in the gas and electricity transmission and distribution markets.”
