Lynch does £4M deal with Doosan

Lynch Plant Hire has taken delivery of £4M of new Doosan excavators from Berkshire-based dealer Promac Solutions as part of a £12M investment in new machinery in 2013.

Lynch operations director Merrill Lynch said the Doosan range offered “an excellent return on investment”, meeting the high performance, fuel efficiency, reliability and safety standards that the company was looking for.

The order includes the DX300LC 30t and DX380LC 38t large crawler excavators, as well as the articulated boom version of the DX190W wheeled excavator, which is more commonly seen in continental Europe. “We purchased a machine to meet a special requirement from one of our rail customers,” explained Lynch. “We have also had Doosan DX140LC 14t excavators specially modified with diesel particulate filters to meet strict environmental restrictions for work in shafts and underground.”
