Luddon Construction backs key Scottish sailing regatta

Luddon Construction to sponsor prestigious Brewin Dolphin Scottish Series sailing regatta in May

Luddon Construction was this week confirmed as a co-sponsor for the prestigious Brewin Dolphin Scottish Series sailing regatta to be held at Tarbert, Loch Fyne next month.

The annual event is organised by the Clyde Cruising Club and takes place during the bank holiday weekend from Friday 22 May to Monday 25 May on Scotland’s stunning West Coast.

For the last 34 years it has been known as the formerly Bell Lawrie Scottish Series. This year it will see 14 separate classes compete on three courses plus three pre-regatta races from Bangor, Northern Ireland and Inverkip on the West Coast of Scotland.

“It is encouraging to see so many companies have remained committed to supporting the event in this challenging economic climate.” Said Jeremy Glen, event chairman of Clyde Cruising Club. “Sponsors play a key role in facilitating all aspects of the event, for competitors and spectators alike; and ensure the Scottish Series continues to thrive.”

Further details about this year’s event, and entry forms, are available now from the Clyde Cruising Club website: www.clyde.org.
