Lower traffic and revenue for Eurotunnel


Channel Tunnel operator Eurotunnel reported lower traffic and revenue for the year ending December 31, 2004. Car traffic was down 8% from 2.3m vehicles in 2003 to 2.1M, while total revenue slumped from $1.05bn to $1.01bn.

Chief executive Jean-Louis Raymond cited low cost airline routes as a factor.
