Lord Whitty

Roads minister Lord Whitty last week launched construction of the £60M transport interchange at Manchester Airport. It is hoped the interchange will help cut car traffic to the airport by 25% in five years. The plan is in response to projected passenger growth at the airport from 17M to 41M over 15 years.
