Lord Berkeley talks on the future of freight

Former Conservative transport spokesman Lord Tony Berkeley will next month give a lecture on the future opportunities and challenges for national and international freight services in the UK.

The ICE and Faber Maunsell Prestige Lecture: “The Challenges and Opportunities for the Freight Industry from 2014 to 2025 and Beyond” will focus on the future of the rail freight network beyond 2014 and its impact in a wider transportation context. 

Currently chairman of the Rail Freight Group and president of the European Rail Freight Association, Lord Berkeley is also secretary of the All Party Parliamentary Rail Group and the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group.
