Looe landslip house demolition starts

Demolition of the house partially destroyed in a landslip that killed one person in in Looe, Cornwall in March has got underway and will enable investigations into the incident to be completed.

Police and the Health and Safety Executive have been waiting for the house on Sandplace Road to be demolished in order to finalise their investigations into how Susan Norman died following the landslide on 22 March.

Demolition work will be undertaken by DRS Demolition during overnight road closures.
