London's tallest glazed facade

What is claimed to be London's tallest glazed facade is emerging from behind scaffolding in the City. A 35m tall glass curtain wall encloses the atrium of a new office development, Tower Place, built for developer Tishman Speyer. It is supported from cables and is protected against movement by lateral spring stabilisers.

Structural engineer is Arup. Fabricator and contractor for the atrium is Austrian firm Wagner Buro.
