London 2012 organisers yesterday launched a new logo for the Olympic Games, designed at a cost of £400,000.
Based upon the figures 2012, the graffiti-style logo by brand consultants Wolff Olins is described by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games as 'dynamic, modern and flexible'.(LOCOG)'London 2012 will be everyone's games, everyone's 2012,' said LOCOG chairman Sebastian Coe.'This is the vision at the very heart of our brand. It will define the venues we build and the games we hold and act as a reminder of our promise to use the Olympic spirit to inspire everyone and reach out to young people around the world. It is an invitation to take part and be involved.' To see the logo and tell us what you think of it go to the opinion poll on our homepage.
