Log in with ICE to keep track of your CPD

ICE news

THE ICE has revealed a new online continuing professional development (CPD) area on its website, allowing members to track and plan their CPD digitally.

The section will allow members to create a CPD plan by inputting objectives outlining career and personal development needs.

Records can be submitted against key CPD activity, such as training courses and seminars. It allows the clear identification of areas for improvement and allows members to keep up to date with industry changes, enhancing job prospects.

ICE director of membership David Lloyd-Roach said: 'We are pleased to offer members a new service to help them develop, plan and record their CPD.

It is important that members undertake CPD to maintain the highest professional standards within the industry. The new service will provide support and guidance to help achieve this.'

The online system was developed after members requested a digital system. A pilot version on the scheme ran last year, with changes being made as a result from users' feedback.

Members can log on by going to www. ice. org. uk/cpd
