May Gurney's geotechnical division fielded its summer signing, a £500,000 Llamada P140TT piling rig, to drill the first hole for a new stand for Norwich City Football Club. The firm, working for main contractor RG Carter, is installing 550 concrete piles, between 12m to 18.7m deep, to carry the new south stand for the first division football club.
