Liverpool Football Club

Liverpool Football Club has been granted planning permission for a new 60,000 seat stadium a stone's throw from its current 45,000 capacity Anfield ground. The project is expected to be called in for review by deputy prime minister John Prescott, however, as the earmarked site is in Liverpool's Stanley Park, which is Grade II listed.
