Letters Girl power!

ANALYSIS; The Editor welcomes letters at 151 Rosebery Avenue, London EC1R 4GB fax: (0171) 505 6667 e-mail: nceedit@construct.emap.co.uk and reserves the right to condense.

Graham Watts' article on the influence of women in and on our industry is timely and entirely valid. He could also have cited Sandra Caldwell, the HSE's Chief Inspector of Construction, not to mention Jenny Bacon, the Director General of the HSE, two ladies (whoops, that dates and stereotypes me apparently) in roles which have considerable influence on the present and future construction industry. Mike Totterdell (F), Farnham Common, Bucks, SL2 3HD
