CALLING ALLmembers. You are cordially invited to the Association of London Graduates & Students' most ambitious project yet - 'The Ball'.

The Ball has been cooked up to give civil engineers an excuse to celebrate who they are and what they do. It is set to take over One Great George Street on Saturday 2 November.

On the ground floor will be a champagne reception, pianist, hot buffet supper, casino, giant Scalextric racing track, and other party games.

Upstairs, a live band will be playing in the Great Hall and downstairs in the Cafe Bar there will be a DJ and dance floor.

'This is a ball for all members - not just young members and not just those based in London, ' stressed ALGS chairman Marcus Rooney. 'The event is about celebrating being a civil engineer.'

Tickets cost £25, and all the money raised will be donated to disaster relief charity RedR.

INFOPLUS For tickets contact Joanna Holland (020) 7665 2159, email joanna. holland@ice. org. uk, or book online: www. ice. org. uk
