Lend Lease CEO to chair Green Construction Board

The Department of Business, Innovation and Skills has elected a new co-chair of the Green Construction Board.

Lend Lease chief executive officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa Dan Labbad was yesterday appointed by business minister Mark Prisk, who is also co-chair of the board.

The government said the Green Construction Board’s aim is to develop and put in place a strategic framework for the promotion of innovation and sustainable growth in the industry.

The board will hold its first meeting later this autumn where it will finalise its membership and set out terms of reference.
