Leaning Tower of Pisa

Temporary stay measures began construction last month for Italy's Leaning Tower of Pisa. A restraining cable loop system at about one third height, with cables passing across the piazza to two A-frames erected behind a row of buildings on its edge Lead weights will be used for tensioning, with fine adjustment by hydraulic jacks.
