Roads - Round up

Enerpac has won the award to supply the hydraulic system for lifting and launching deck segments for the Millau viaduct in France. The company is contracted to Eiffel, which is responsible for the steel elements - the deck and the temporary piers. Construction of the multi-span cable stayed viaduct began this summer. On completion it is expected to be the highest in the world with a total height of 343m and will form the final link of the A75 route between Paris and the Catalan capital Barcelona.
