Infrastructure Carbon review Infographic

A new info graphic has been released by the Infrastructure Carbon Review (ICR) to highlight the savings which can be made by saving carbon in infrastructure projects.

The Infrastructure Carbon Review (ICR) Initiative was set up in 2013 and said that infrastructure and related areas like energy currently accounted for around half of all UK carbon emissions.

The organisation said that by saving “valuable” resources by using new technologies, construction techniques and a low carbon approach, as much as 24M.t of carbon could be cut and £1.46bn a year saved by 2050.
