Waterloo upgrade work

The video has been released to illustrate progress on major rail upgrades ahead of further works during August. Network Rail will add £350,000 worth of a £5M upgrade of the points at Waterloo – the new equipment will allow trains to move between the tracks.

This August bank holiday will see new signal and communications equipment installed between Queenstown Road and Clapham Junction station. The work will also include renewal of tracks between Wandsworth Town and Putney station.
